Dr Asan qualified as a medical doctor in Turkey in 2007. He has been practicing in the UK since 2012 and has been on the GMC specialist register for psychiatry since 2016. He is an associate specialist in the Royal College of Psychiatrist. He is also an Approved Clinician and is recognised under section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act as having specific expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of mental health problems. He is a member of the World Federation of ADHD. He has worked as a consultant psychiatrist both for NHS and private hospitals. He led a wide range of services including inpatient, intensive care, ADHD, community, and liaison. Dr Asan offers consultations to adults aged 18 to 65. His specific interests are mood and anxiety spectrum disorders, psychotic illness, personality disorders and ADHD.
